The decision to form a Transcaucasian branch of the Helsinki Citizens Assembly was taken at the hCa Assembly in Bratislava in March 1992. Later that year, hCa committees were established in Armenia, Azerbaijan including Nagorno-Karabakh region, Georgia and an international peace caravan was organized in August 1992 during the war. The caravan went from Tbilisi, Georgia, where a one-day visit to South Ossetia was organized, and to Baku (Azerbaijan) from where some participants have visited Nagorno-Karabakh (region), and to Yerevan (Armenia), and back to Tbilisi. ...»»»
